Summary 

The third District Level Household Survey (DLHS-3) covered 720,000 households in 601 districts throughout all states except Nagaland. Survey instruments included household, ever-married women (ages 15-49), unmarried women (ages 15-24), village, and health facility questionnaires. The household questionnaire measured socioeconomic characteristics, while women's questionnaires focused on maternal and reproductive health and health knowledge. Village and health facility questionnaires include information on availability of health services and health infrastructure.
