The Mexico Single Information System for Epidemiological Surveillance (SUIVE) was created in an effort to produce more efficient, homogenous data to improve the delivery and quality of epidemiological information. SUIVE disseminates weekly bulletins detailing new cases of 142 diseases by subject, sex, and age group.
The SUIVE Epidemiology Bulletin (Boletín Epidemiológico Nacional Sistema de Vigilancia Epidemiológica Sistema Único de Información) is the current bulletin for reporting morbidity data collected by National System of Epidemiological Surveillance (Sistema Nacional de Vigilancia Epidemiológica (SINAVE)), a primary activity of Mexico's Directorate General of Epidemiology, Secretariate of Health. It was preceded by other publications, including the Epidemiology Bulletin of Morbidity and Mortality (Epidemiología Boletín de Morbilidad y Mortalidad) and National Health System Monthly Epidemiology Bulletin (Boletín Mensual Epidemiología Sistema Nacional de Salud).
