Since 1989 the Survey of Household Income and Wealth (SHIW) has included a panel portion. For the 2007 survey 8,012 households were interviewed on the topics of income, wealth, financial assets, payment instruments, and housing. Although the survey was conducted in 2005, the questions pertained to household activities and conditions in 2004.
