The focus of the survey report is on poverty and uses per-capita household-consumption expenditures as the measurement. The base poverty line is established by the cost of the least expensive amount of food necessary to meet the minimum requirement of 2,400 calories a day for adults and monetary allowances for non-food needs. This report includes tabulations of poverty indicators, economic activity, and health outcomes.
