Summary
The Yemen Family Health Survey 2003 was conducted by the Ministry of Public Health and Population in collaboration with the Central Statistical Organization and the Pan Arab Project for Family Health (PAPFAM). The sample covered 13,815 households, including 11,292 ever married women ages 15 to 54.
The survey used three questionnaires covering the following topics: housing characteristics; health status; knowledge of contraception and sexually-transmitted diseases; reproductive health; use of health services; and maternal mortality.
