The International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) represents a series of cross-national collaborations between organizations conducting similar social science research. ISSP researchers focus on developing survey questions that are relevant and comprehensible in all countries and languages, with survey results that are comparable across nations.
This survey covers topics including evaluation of the country's health care system, personal health, and health insurance. The data were collected through in-person interviews. The sample size for Portugal was 1,022 interview with persons aged 18 years and older.
