General Info
The Health in Times of Transition: Trends in Population Health and Health Policies in CIS Countries (HITT-CIS) project collected and analyzed information about the health, health care, and lifestyles of nine countries in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia. As part of the data collection, HITT-CIS included representative household surveys in all nine countries, with a total sample of 18,000 participants. Questionnaires focused on participants' health status, health care access and use, diet, tobacco and alcohol use, mental health, as well as social and political opinions.
