Summary
The Spot Survey on Tobacco Trends, in use since 1998, is a biannual survey that monitors and identifies the prevailing trends, patterns, and attitudes related to tobacco and tobacco use.
The December 2014 survey was conducted in the following districts: Colombo, Gampaha, Galle, Kegalle, Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Batticaloa, Kandy, Monaragal, and Trincoma. It covered a total of 2,454 male respondents ages 15 and above.
