Summary
The Multiple Indicator Survey (MICS) sample for São Tomé and Príncipe was designed to provide estimates for a large number of indicators on the situation of children and women at national, urban and rural areas. Five questionnaires were given during MICS6 data collection: Household Questionnaires, Women (15-49 years), Men (15-49 years), Children under 5, Children 5-17 years, and Water Quality Testing. A total of 3,426 households were interviewed, including 3,115 women and 1,395 men over the age of 17.
