Summary
The Global Burden of Disease Study 2019 (GBD 2019), coordinated by the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME), estimated the burden of diseases, injuries, and risk factors for 204 countries and territories and selected subnational locations.
Estimates of chewing tobacco use and the burden attributable to this risk factor were produced by sex, age group, and year for 204 countries and territories for 1990-2019. The files in this record include estimates of chewing tobacco use prevalence for people ages 15 and older by sex, age group, and year.
