Summary 

Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. The 2020 Singapore Census of Population used a register-based approach to obtain information via merged administrative records, and conduct enumeration via a sample survey of 150,000 households, with a total population of 5.685 million in 2020.
