Summary
The 2017-2020 Russia Ural Very Old Study examined the prevalence of ocular disorders and associated risk factors in rural and urban regions of Ufa, Bashkortostan for adults 85+ yrs. Data were collected through interviews, ophthalmologic exams, and clinical exams including electrocardiography, hearing tests, blood sampling, spirometry, and hand grip dynamometry. The study successfully canvassed 1526 individuals.
