Summary
The third Cape Verde Demographic and Reproductive Health Survey (IDSR-III) covers topics of socio-demographic population data, access to water and sanitation, fertility, contraception use, sexual behavior, maternal and child health care, knowledge and attitudes towards HIV and other STDs and their prevalence, gender-based violence, breastfeeding, data on iodine in table salt, and prevalence of anemia. 5,684 women and 3,491 men from 6,741 households were interviewed.
