The 2020 Rwanda Labor Force Survey consisted of four rounds of data collection done on a quarterly basis to provide estimates of labor market indicators. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, data collection in May 2020 was done telephonically using a reduced questionnaire. The August 2020 round was conducted with face to face interviews with the exception of a full telephonic interview in two clusters which were in lockdown. An online data collection method was successfully planned for the November data collection round. The annual sample size for 2020 was 17,308 households - 4,608 households in February, 3,484 households in May, 4,608 households in August, and 4,608 households in November. Annual response rate at around 97% was similar to previous years.
