This report details the motor vehicle registration statistics in India for the years 2009-2010 and 2010-2011. Total numbers of registered motor vehicles in India at the national and state levels are given, as well as by vehicle type (two-wheeled, four-wheeled, buses, tractors, etc.) and usage (transport versus private non-transport).
