The ENSANUT is a combination of previous health and nutrition surveys. It gauges the exercise, nutrition habits, and overall health of children (up to age 9), adolescents (ages 10-19), adults (ages 20-60) and the elderly (aged 60+) through household and individual questionnaires collected from over 50,000 Mexican households. Blood samples were taken and anthropometric measurements were conducted for some respondents. The survey was designed to estimate health and nutrition conditions, access to health care, health determinants, and prevalence ratios.
