Summary
The Nigeria DHS EdData Survey (NDES) 2004 provides information on education attainment, education expenditures, and education access for school-age children. The 2004 NDES participants were selected from a sub-sample of households surveyed in the 2003 Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey (DHS). Data from 2004 NDES can be statistically linked to the 2003 Nigeria DHS. For the 2003 NDES, 3,987 parents/guardians were successfully interviewed from 4,268 households. Parent/guardian interviews provided data on 9,695 school-age children ages 4-16. Additionally, anthropometry measurements were collected for 4,307 children ages 4-9, and literacy and numeracy was measured for 6,307 children ages 4-12.
