Afghanistan Disease Early Warning System Annual Report 2009 provides information on confirmed cases, suspected cases, and outbreaks of priority diseases in Afghanistan during 2009. Information comes from Afghanistan's Disease Early Warning System (DEWS), which consists of 177 sentinel sites, located in 34 provinces across Afghanistan.
