Wave 3.5 of the Australia Longitudinal Study of Children followed two cohorts of 5000 children each. Successive waves of this survey will follow cohorts through adulthood. Survey respondents included parents or other individuals. Questions covered topics such as life-changing events, parent involvement in child's academic life, child's internet use habits, child's mobile phone use. Data were also collected on the amount of time children spent watching TV, using a computer, listening to music, or playing with electronic game systems.
