Summary 

The Botswana Health Statistical Yearbook contains data derived from service and administrative reports provided by health facilities in Botswana. Private health practitioners and facilities are excluded. Reported data are used to calculate the level of outpatient and inpatient morbidity and mortality. The report also shows staffing patterns, access to health services, and non-institutional vital events nationally and by district. Data on non-institutional births and deaths have been included. Service data consist of aggregated outpatient data and patient-based data for inpatient information.
