Some provinces and territories also use the DAD to collect information on outpatient surgical procedures. Data are received directly from acute care facilities, regional health authorities, or ministries of health. Facilities in all provinces and territories, except Quebec, are required to report to CIHI within 60 days after the end of each quarter.
