Summary 

This report provides incidence and mortality tables for cancer cases in 2005. The tables are broken down by sex, 5-year age groups, and ICD-10 cancer codes. Crude, age-standardized, and cumulative rates are presented. The report covers 54.9 million people in 34 registration areas, comprised of 16 cities and 18 rural areas in China. The National Central Cancer Registry began publishing annual reports in 2008.
