Costa Rica Multipurpose Household Survey 2003

The data collected for this EHPM survey provides information on employment, income, poverty estimates, and demographic variables such as age, sex, marital status, education and migration. Each year the survey focuses on a specific research topic. The 2003 survey focused on housing and utilities, telecommunications, pension systems, and social programs such as housing vouchers, scholarships, school tickets, dining, and transportation, attendance at public and private schools, proficiency in a second language and assistance services through the Center for Education and Nutrition-Integrated Center for Child Health Care (CEN-CINAI).
