They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 1963 Costa Rica de jure census collected data through face-to-face interviews on housing, household demographics, employment for individuals 12 and older, education for those 7 and older, and migration. In addition to the population and housing questionnaires, an agricultural questionnaire was administered to those who owned or rented land. The census day was March 31, 1963 but fieldwork continued after this day. This source appears in the United Nations Demographic Yearbook.
