Since 1992, the survey has been divided into a core that covers basic socioeconomic characteristics of households and household members, and modules that cover special topics such as consumption, household income, household welfare, tourism, crime, nutrition, housing, etc. Starting in 2003, SUSENAS added a panel segment to the survey. In 1980, two surveys were conducted in all regions (except East Timor), covering 102,000 households on agriculture and livestock, and 58,000 households on labor force, social culture, health, and on household consumption, expenditure and income. Data have not been released, and may be acquired through Statistics Indonesia.
