Summary 

The 2014-2015 Malawi Welfare Monitoring Survey investigated core living conditions indicators and the socioeconomic status of citizens. Data collected included demographic characteristics of participants, education, employment, access to facilities and services, welfare indicators, agricultural practices, food security, maternal and child health, and HIV and AIDS knowledge. Data were collected through household interviews using questionnaires. A total of 14,000 households from 699 clusters were canvassed.
