Summary 

The Mauritania Demographic and Health Survey 2019-2021 is part of phase seven of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series. Data collection was conducted in two phases due to interruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to common DHS topics, this survey also collected information about domestic violence and female circumcision, maternal mortality, and migration. 11,658 households were surveyed.
