Summary 

The Mauritius 2022 Population and Housing Census was the nineteenth census for the Republic of Mauritius. It consisted of two rounds - a housing census, conducted between April and June 2022, and a population census, conducted between June and August 2022. Data collection efforts used the Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) method for the first time in this census round. 369,000 private households and 1,235,260 individuals were enumerated.
