The sample included 6,003 households, of which 7,461 women ages 15-49 were interviewed, as well as a subsample of 1,557 husbands. The questionnaire covered fertility, infant mortality, family planning, antenatal care, pregnancy complications, and knowledge of HIV/AIDS.
