The survey was conducted in three communities in the Rapti zone: Satbariya, Jinabang, and Thabang. The sample included a total of 660 households. Height and weight measurements were taken along with measurement of triceps skinfold thickness. Blood samples were collected to assess hemoglobin levels. The survey covered socioeconomic factors affecting the nutritional status of adolescent girls and included a 24-hour food and activity recall questionnaire, which also covered micronutrient intake during the past 15 days. Survey participants were examined for clinical signs of Vitamin A deficiency, anemia, and iodine deficiency, including goiter and xeropthalmia.
