The sample covered 6,083 households, 3,902 ever married women ages 15 to 49, and 5,429 never married adults ages 18 to 29. The survey used five questionnaires covering the following topics: housing characteristics; health status; knowledge of contraception and sexually-transmitted diseases; reproductive health; use of health services; and available services and equipment at health facilties.
