Uganda Lot Quality Assurance Sampling Survey 2004

The Lot Quality Assurance Sampling Survey conducted in 2004 assessed the progress of the UPHOLD program in Uganda. UPHOLD, the Uganda Program for Human and Holistic Development, was a 5-year program focused on improving social services in education, health, and HIV/AIDS. The 2004 LQAS canvassed 20 districts and surveyed health facilities, primary schools, and households.

The total survey sample included 423 health facilities, 1,449 primary schools, and 9,975 households. The household survey canvassed five classes of participants in particular: women ages 15-49 years with a child under 2, women ages 15-49 years with a child under 5, women ages 15-49 years with school-aged children, and women of childbearing age.
