Summary 

This survey took place in 1976. As a successor to the census, this post-censal survey had two specific objectives: To provide for a more detailed description of the summary information of the census on migration and activity, as well as to provide information on certain topics not selected from the census, such as mortality, fertility, housing, schooling, current activity, ethnicity. This survey also enabled the testing and assessment of the quality, reliability, and completeness of the census data.

To this end, the post-enumeration survey resumed all the questions raised during the census, but added a number of new questions to clarify or complement the census.
