Comprehensive Health and Education Forum (CHEF) International is a non-governmental organization working in the area of preventable disability. Its original focus was solely visual impairment, but has expanded to include and address several disabilities. CHEF’s services include diagnostic and rehabilitative services, service integration with existing health systems, education and outreach, and disaster risk reduction and management.
Mission statement: "To facilitate access to quality, affordable, and sustainable comprehensive health and education for all; including rehabilitation of persons with disabilities to attain an inclusive society through collaboration and partnerships."
