Summary 

The key objective of TLSS 2007 is to support the Government of Tajikistan in monitoring the progress of national strategies such as the National Development Strategy (NDS), Poverty Reduction Strategy (PRS), as well progress toward achieving the global Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). TLSS also update Tajikistan living standard results with regard to, among others, poverty, dwelling and social assistance, as well as expenditures on labor, agriculture, health and education, migration, food security and consumption, and water and sanitation.
